WHO WE ARE

Our National Team

  • FOUNDER AND EXECUTIVE

Kyle is the Founder and Executive Director of Rooted. Originally from Kansas City, MO, Kyle graduated from Oklahoma State in 2012, receiving his degree in International Business with a double minor in Mandarin Chinese & International Studies. After graduation, Kyle completed a capstone study abroad experience in Shanghai and moved to Houston, TX. His work history has varied, from Phillips66 Marketing and Project Management to opening a coffee shop and bar with friends, to non profit communications and now as the Houston Rep for the Seed Company — a ministry dedicated to translating scripture for the bibleless languages of the world. Kyle is also passionate about his friends, family, traveling and church planting — helping launch Hope City Church (2014) and Sandbox Church (2017). Kyle also has a growing photography / photobooth business, and has become an uncle to two amazing kids! All of these things are amazing, but one thing has always remained the same: God is so good and so faithful. The Lord has used Rooted to radically change his life, forever.
